Recommended For
Automotive detailers • Marine refinishers • Spray painters • Furniture restorers • Surface repair and polishing professionals.
To get the best performance and longest life from your SPX wool pad, proper cleaning after each use is essential.
After Use:
Clean the pad using a solvent-based cleaner to break down polishing compounds, oils, and coatings.
This is especially important when working with hard-to-remove finishes such as Osmo, which can set firmly once dried.
Recommended Cleaning Method:
Lay the wool pad face down in a shallow amount of solvent.
Allow it to soak for approximately 1 minute to loosen residue.
Reattach the pad to your polisher.
Run the machine on low speed (speed 1-2) to spin out excess solvent and dry the fibres.
Important Tips:
Do not let product fully cure in the pad — clean promptly after use.
Avoid high-speed spinning when drying, as this can damage the wool fibres.
Store pads clean and dry to maintain performance across multiple jobs.
