Professional Tip
Start drilling at a slight angle before bringing the drill upright. Use moderate pressure and allow the diamonds to do the cutting. Occasionally lift the bit to clear dust and assist cooling, use water helping maximise cutting speed and tool life.
Engineered for professional tradespeople, the SPX 12mm M14 Diamond Core Drill delivers fast, precise holes and dependable performance on even the toughest materials.
WARNING – SILICA DUST HAZARD
Never dry drill materials containing crystalline silica. Use continuous water suppression and appropriate dust-control measures throughout the drilling process. Always wear suitable PPE, including a correctly fitted respirator, eye protection, hearing protection, gloves and protective clothing. Only use water with tools designed and rated for wet operation. Follow all relevant safety regulations and the material manufacturer’s SDS.
Water suppression is an important control, but PPE should not be relied upon by itself. WorkSafe Victoria guidance also says electrical tools must be suitable for use with water.
